By far the highlight of last week was the appearance of our Yr 12 Economics Students on BBC Northwest being interviewed about their views and opinions on the EU referendum and how being ‘in’ or ‘out’ is likely to impact on young people. Thank you to Mr Shaw who was very determined to make sure the youth of today were represented once he found out the TV news team would be on the Sandbach cobbles.  Charlotte Witter was articulate and clearly secure in her viewpoint.  If you would like to see the report it can be accessed around 10 minutes in via this link:

Our A Level PE group have organised and would like to extend a warm invitation to staff, parents and friends to a friendly Golf Tournament on Monday 4th July at Crewe Golf Club.  Tee off times are available between 4.30 and 5.30pm and will cost players £15.00 each. Monies raised will go towards improving our current College ICT facilities.  If you are interested in taking part please email Tamara Talbot for more information.  Numbers are limited – so please don’t delay!  Thanks are also due to Mr Kevin Regan who has organised a Euros Prediction competition where half of the proceeds are being donated to our new College fund raising efforts.  Come on Wales!……. and England obviously!!!

Lots to fit in over the next few weeks – not least the Year 12 Inter-Form £20.00 challenge that is now well underway with some ambitious and creative ideas floating around.

Have a good week everyone!
