A superb week that started and finished with rather special events. The week got off to a fabulous start with our current Year 12 students returning to main school to collect their richly deserved certificates and awards during their GCSE presentation evening.  A lovely evening, full of smiles, celebrations and plenty of pride. The week ended today with an amazing Alice in Wonderland themed Afternoon Tea charity event at Cranage Hall organised by our Year 13 Business students, raising money for Cancer Research and Young Minds.  The impressive, sophisticated event was really well supported by students, staff and parents – thank you to everyone involved.  In between these two special events, students have been busy with a number of other activities including an informative careers event at Radbroke Hall; a number of university Open Days; another great restaurant evening by our Hospitality students for the Rotary Club and our Yr 13 Health & Social Care students having the opportunity to interview local foster carers visiting College as part of their Caring for Children and Young People unit.  Tickets are now available for our annual Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch and our Student Leadership Group and Miss Moore are busy with their festive preparations.  Friday also saw our College students joining the rest of Sandbach High School to show their respect to our war heroes as part of our remembrance service – a poignant and memorable experience for all involved.
